FROM HUMAN POTENTIAL TO GENERATIVE ENTERPRISE

The capacity to build something of our own can and should change more than our economic circumstances. It should create livelihoods, strengthen communities, solve problems, preserve knowledge, produce beauty, restore natural systems, and generate new forms of public value.

Common Forge exists to expand that capacity.

Through philanthropic support and entrepreneurial development, the Skandere Foundation helps emerging builders move meaningful ideas toward real-world participation.

THE CATALYST GRANT

$500 TO CREATE MOTION

Through Common Forge, the Skandere Foundation selects two emerging enterprises each month to receive a $500 Catalyst Grant, supporting builders whose proposed enterprises demonstrate meaningful generative potential. The grant is designed to enable a specific next step: an experiment, prototype, material purchase, pilot, first production run, research effort, or other concrete movement toward reality.

Common Forge Catalyst Grant applications are organized around the five-chamber trajectory of the Enterprise Foundry methodology:

THE FOUNDRY FELLOWSHIP

The Grant is a beginning

Selected Catalyst Grant recipients become Foundry Fellows... an emerging community of builders supported by the Skandere Foundation in putting generative enterprise into practice.

Fellows are invited to share what they build, what they learn, and what becomes possible through the support they receive, contributing to a growing body of practical knowledge around entrepreneurial agency and generative enterprise.
